Loyalty should respect the people who earn it
We're calling on companies to stop profiting from unredeemed loyalty points. Add your name and demand transparency, fairness, and real ownership of the rewards you earn.
Our demand
We, the undersigned, believe that:
- 1.Loyalty points represent earned value and should be treated as such, not as a mechanism for corporate profit through expiration.
- 2.Consumers have the right to transparent, fair, and permanent ownership of rewards they have earned through their patronage.
- 3.Companies should not be allowed to unilaterally devalue, expire, or confiscate loyalty points without meaningful notice and fair compensation.
- 4.The practice of budgeting for customers failing to redeem earned rewards should face the same scrutiny as any other unfair business practice.

Why petitions work
In 2016, Ontario consumers petitioned against AIR MILES point expiration. The public pressure worked. The province passed legislation forcing AIR MILES to reverse their policy, saving 8.7 billion miles from being destroyed.
Consumer voices have power. The CFPB, DOT, and international regulators are already watching. Every signature strengthens the case for change.
